Curly Trails Kids Club
The Jump Monkey Division

This is for boys and girls generally aged between 7 and 16 years old. However we recommend interested youngsters should arrange to come along for a introductory session and assessment.

All coaching is carried out by our team of experienced and qualified instructors.

Aims of the Club

  • To introduce young people to the varied disciplines of mountain biking including XC (cross country), freeride and DH (downhilling)
  • To ensure that youngsters are made aware of the safety implications of the sport. This includes a good working knowledge of trail etiquette
  • To teach youngsters the basic functions of their bikes and their maintenance
  • To coach youngsters in the basic principles of mountain biking including balance, braking, cadence & gear selection
  • To encourage each youngster to progress at their own speed and recognise their progress.
